Grambling Black and Gold Foundation Incorporated will host President Horace A. Judson's Scholarship Dinner-Theatre Friday, April 18 and Saturday April 19 at 6pm both nights in the university's assembly center.
The Foundation was established in April of 2005 as a privately governed non-profit corpration whose mission is to support Grambling State University. The Foundation is a strong, collaborative partner that applies business strategy and principles toward fundraising and funds management to benefit the public educational needs of our state's preeminent University.
Loften Mitchell's classical musical-Bubbling Brown Sugar will be presented this year for the dinner-theatre setting. The noted musical will feature Grambling State University students from the speech and theatre department, music (band ensemble) department and the Orchesis Dance Troupe. Also, a silent auction will be held featuring student artwork and other items.
The semi-formal fundraising event will assist with scholarship enhancement for many current and prospective GSU students.
Tickets for the event are $30.00 for students and $45.00 for non-students. For further information, contact the GSU Institutional Advancement Office by phone at (318) 274-2217 or visit the office which is located at 100 Robinson Street at R.W.E. Jones Drive
